Mr. Fiebig
7th & 8th Grade Math Room 609 (352) 797-7075 ext. 258 About Mr. Fiebig: Although this is his first year at DSPMS, Mr. Fiebig has worked in the education field teaching adults for most of his professional career and has taught 7th grade Math, 8th grade Pre-Algebra, 8th grade Intensive Math, as well as teaching Algebra I Honors at two different schools. With a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grade Mathematics from St. Petersburg College, he is well-equipped to teach our Leopards Math! Though he was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan (North Detroit area), he spent most of his childhood between Michigan and Florida and graduated from Bayshore High School in Manatee County. A retired disabled Army veteran and retired undercover investigator who has owned and managed several businesses, Mr. Fiebig came out of retirement in an effort to make a difference in mathematics in middle school after discovering through extensive research that this country has demonstrated a serious deficiency in the area. He is committed to doing everything he can, to help every student he comes in contact with. Mr. Fiebig has has a full and eventful career as a California-certified Plumbing Inspector, where he also taught rigorous courses, and as a government contractor which enabled him to build dams, out-door amphitheaters, and remodel numerous houses in all aspects of construction. Never one to stop learning, Mr. Fiebig is currently working on my Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership at Saint Leo University. Mr. Fiebig's favorite thing about Parrott Middle School is that it consists of individuals that are committed to the educational success and well-being of every student. Teachers and staff have both demonstrated an earnest concern and are willing to do what is necessary to help every student. Some fun facts you may not know about Mr. Fiebig are that his favorite animal is an elephant, he loves the Moon, is a huge Alabama and Oakland Raiders fan, is a life-long gamer, and has been playing WoW (World of Warcraft) for over nine years! Mr. Fiebig can most often be found in his classroom working with students. He is available to tutor any student who wants to learn during his lunch and after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. |
